Rebel Girls talk about taboos

Rebel Girls talk about taboos

In this short the Rebel Girls take you on a rapid tour of the taboos they tackle: the satirical 'non-binary farmer', the claim that someone can be 'born in the wrong body', and the fight for fair, female-only sports — with the striking figures from HeCheated, where in 20,000 matches 1,200 males took titles and millions in prize money from young women. They celebrate lesbians in all their variety, and end with the lack of freedom many girls face through the hijab, forced marriage and honour killings — 'step one: make all religious coverings for girls illegal'.
