Interview with Shohreh Feshtali on Café Weltschmerz

Let us begin by highlighting this very special interviewer. In 1993, she managed to flee to The Netherlands from Iran. Shohreh Feshtali is now the director of broadcaster Café Weltschmerz, an online platform with 137,000 followers and a YouTube channel. The interview was, of course, about our book 'Gender Rebels'. Her own (Dutch) book about her youth in Iran, 'Veiled Years, Lost Freedom - Hidden Love', is a real page-turner, already in its eleventh edition.
How miserable things are in Iran, and how difficult it still is for girls and women: everyone is forced into an Islamic straitjacket. Support their struggle if you can. Another great woman to follow for news from Iran is @MasihAlinejad on Insta and X. Woman! Life! Freedom! In Farsi: Zan, Zendegi, Azadi!
