Sybilla Claus is an anthropologist, journalist and author, and the driving force behind the Rebel Girls project. Over a career spanning more than thirty years she has written for the largest Dutch national newspapers and published six non-fiction books. Her work tells critical and uplifting stories about feminism, women's freedom and the pressures facing today's girls and young women — from social media and self-diagnosis to gender ideology and the oppression of women. She compiled the Dutch book 'Gender Rebels' (2024) and the international English edition 'Rebel Girls' (2026).
